Magali é escritora, palestrante, formada em Psicologia pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, em Educação Artística pela Faculdade Santa Marcelina, em Música Sacra pela Faculdade Teológica Batista de São Paulo e em Coaching pela Sociedade Brasileira de Coaching.
Atualmente, é missionária parceira da Igreja Batista de Água Branca e da Igreja Batista Memorial de Alphaville. Casada desde 1982 com Sergio Leoto, têm uma filha, Jessica, casada com Daniel.
